Who we are
Sentireal was founded in 2013 by David and Nuala Trainor, and is based at Catalyst Fintech Hub in Belfast city centre, Northern Ireland. We are passionate about our Company, and strive to deliver excellence to our customers.
Our current complement of staff possess an array of technical skills and expertise in the fields of augmented and virtual reality, artificial intelligence and machine learning. This is further enhanced with expertise in audio and video processing, digital communications, data security and System-on-Chip.
Augmented Reality benefits learners in a variety of our application areas, including medicine/healthcare, manufacturing, construction and hospitality.
Cameron joins Sentireal as an XR Application Developer, after graduating with First Class Honours from Ulster University. He has previous industrial experience, and works with the technical team to produce a variety of immersive applications for clients.
Adam is a graduate with a Masters Degree Queens University, and joins our team as a Full Stack Web Developer. He is responsible for the development of web services and web applications. He is also experienced in games development having completed a BA Degree in Game Design and Production Management
Gary is a graduate from Queens, having completed a BSc Hons in Business, Information and Technology. He joins Sentireal as an XR application developer, and works with the team to produce a variety of immersive applications for clients within a range of market verticals.
TOM HOUSTON - CEO
Tom is an MBA graduate with 25 years global sales and marketing experience, and he joins Sentireal in the role CEO. He has led business units for large organisations, and his experience extends to leading sales, marketing and customer service teams globally in the education technology, retail technology and engineering sectors. He steers all the commercial aspects of the business..
Jeremiah is a graduate from UCD, and is the first Data Scientist to be employed by Sentireal. His work involves managing data, machine learning and AI requirements for Sentireal's personalised training products.
JAMES HUNTER - BOARD MEMBER
In addition to his technical expertise, James is a business entrepreneur, having founded and lead several companies. James attends monthly Board Meetings, and provides strategic business advice, information and support on an on-going basis
AIDAN MCGRATH- CHAIRMAN
Aidan is an experienced NED, mentor and trainer with a wealth of experience in Start-ups and Business Development, General Management, Marketing, Sales Management and Consultancy. He provides strategic input and advice regarding future growth and expansion of the company.
Business Development Manager
Andrew joins Sentireal with a wealth of experience in sales and business development on a local and national basis. Andrew's role involves identifying and achieving new business opportunities.
Daniel joined Sentireal in 2018 in the role of Mixed Reality Application Developer. He studied Computing with Games Development at Ulster University, graduating with a First Class Honours Degree. His area of expertise is Virtual Reality Development using Unity Games Engine.
Ryan spent a placement year with Sentireal, and joined the company again in 2020, after graduating with a First Class Honours Degree from Ulster University. He is a Mixed Reality Content designer, responsible for content generation and production for Sentireal's Mixed Reality Products.
Nuala is a co founder of Sentireal, and is the Programme and Marketing Manager. As a graduate in Business Studies and French, she has a wide range of experience in areas ranging from tourism, business and retail to education, training, and autism provision.
David founded Sentireal in 2013. He has over 20 years' technical experience and expertise gained from academia and industry. He is involved in several industry partnerships, and currently chairs the VRARA Industrial Committee for Training. Contact David on LinkedIn.
